Technical cookies can be divided into navigation cookies, used to record data useful for normal navigation and use of the website on the user’s computer (allowing, for example, to remember the preferred size of the page in a list) and cookies functional, which allow the website to remember the choices made by the user in order to optimize its functionality (for example, functional cookies allow the site to remember a user’s specific settings, such as country selection and, if set, permanent access status).
Some of these cookies (called essential or strictly necessary) enable functions without which it would not be possible to carry out some operations.
Pursuant to the aforementioned art. 122, co. 1, Privacy Code, the use of technical cookies does not require user consent.
Technical cookies are assimilated to technical cookies (and, therefore, as specified in the Provision, for their installation, the consent of users is not required, nor further regulatory obligations) are so-called cookies analytics if created and used directly by the first-party site manager (without, therefore, the intervention of third parties) for the purpose of optimizing the same to collect aggregate information on the number of users and how they visit the site itself, as well as cookies analytics created and made available by third parties and used by the first-party site for mere statistical purposes, if, among other things, suitable tools are adopted to reduce the identifying power of cookies analytics that use (for example, by masking significant portions of the IP address).
Profiling cookies are used to track the user’s navigation, analyze their behavior for marketing purposes and create profiles on their tastes, habits, choices, etc. in order to transmit targeted advertising messages in relation to the user’s interests and in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing online.
These cookies can be installed on the user’s terminal only if the user has expressed his consent in the manner indicated in the Provision. Based on their duration, cookies are divided into persistent, which remain stored on the user’s device until they expire, unless removed by the user, and session, which are not stored permanently on the device. of the user and disappear when the browser is closed.

The website www.vebs.it uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google, which adheres to the privacy principles established by the United States government (US Safe Harbor Privacy Principles), to which Privacy Policy please refer. To analyze the points of greatest interest on the sites visited by the user, Google Analytics uses cookies for statistical purposes and collects information only in aggregate form, without associating the user’s browsing IP address with any other data held by Google itself. Tools have been adopted that reduce the identifying power of cookies by masking significant portions of the IP. Furthermore, the appropriate Google Analytics settings have been activated so that Google does not cross-reference the data collected with other information it already has.
On some pages connecting to social networks and other multimedia applications, in addition to those of Google Analytics, other anonymous third-party cookies can be set, for the purpose of tracking and improving the functioning and customization of their applications, without collecting information that can allow the user to be identified.
